Mt. Adams Institute (MAI) is a 501(c).3 organization based in Trout Lake, WA, that operates locally (Columbia River Gorge), regionally (Washington, Oregon and Alaska) and nationally (10 others states located in central and the southeastern United States). Founded in 2011 by a staff of experienced national service providers (AmeriCorps) and public lands partners, MAI exists to strengthen the connection between people and the natural world through education, service learning, career development and research.
