Singing Cedars School

Singing Cedars, first opened in 2003, is a 501(c)3 non-profit independent school inspired by Waldorf Education. One of the main goals of our school is to flow with the rhythms of nature amidst the fast paced world we live in today. This principal encourages much outdoor learning and exploration on our secluded little farm next to the Magical Forest. Our younger children begin each day outdoors, using a Waldorf-based curriculum within the context of nature. We incorporate much singing, story-telling and free play to foster their purity and imagination. While the grades children experience a deep connection to the environment as our lessons are integrated with the observations and interactions in nature. The classroom provides a calming influence for the focused learning and restful times of the day.
