Josephine Porter Institute for Applied Biodynamics

To heal the earth through biodynamic farming and gardening. We fulfill this mission by serving as a national provider of quality biodynamic soil builders known as Biodynamic Preparations, as well as through the advancement of biodynamic soil research, nutrition education and outreach activities. Additionally, the Josephine Porter Institute (JPI) works to support farmers, gardeners, ranchers and others in their making and use of biodynamic soil and compost preparations. We envision the Josephine Porter Institute working collaboratively with others nationally, regionally and locally to further the biodynamic agricultural movement. The Josephine Porter Institute for Applied Biodynamics is committed to the pursuit of diversity, equity and inclusion. We strive to honor and respect the dignity, spirit and freedom of every living being. We recognize the harmful effects of historical and present-day acts of racism, classism, patriarchy and white supremacy. The Josephine Porter Institute for Applied Biodynamics pledges to work to change those forms of oppression within our scope of work and service.
