Friends of Eastern Sierra Avalanche Center

The Eastern Sierra Avalanche Center provides high quality avalanche, snow, and weather information to local and visiting backcountry travelers (skiers, snowboarders, snowmobilers, and snowshoers) in the Eastern Sierra Nevada between Bridgeport and Lone Pine, CA. Our goal is to help educate winter backcountry users around the risks of traveling in avalanche terrain and provide a set of resources to help them make better decisions while travelling in avalanche terrain.
