Coal Action Network (CAN UK)
The coal Action Network (UK) fights to end the UK's addiction to coal. CAN is concerned by the state of local ecosystems, empowering local communities and minimising changes to the climate. It works with communities at the front-lines of coal extraction to fight against opencast coal mines and UK power stations. CAN raises awareness of the issues in the UK, Russia and Colombia caused by the UK's coal-fired power stations.
