Boys & Girls Club of Metro North (BGCMN) is a cornerstone of youth development and family support in Stoneham, Wakefield and Saugus. BGCMN’s mission is to enable all young people, especially those who need us most, to reach their full potential as productive, caring, responsible citizens. For more than 50 years, Boys & Girls Club of Metro North (BGCMN) has been providing youth development and family support with locations in Stoneham, Wakefield and Saugus that support youth from 10 surrounding towns. Last year, BGCMN served over 2,500 children, teens, and adults through programs that promote academic success, healthy lifestyles, leadership development, and workforce readiness. The Boys & Girls Club of Metro North serves a diverse population of children and families throughout the region, many of whom face barriers to accessing high-quality STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics) opportunities outside of school. In many communities, STEM enrichment programs can be expensive or limited, leaving youth from low- and moderate-income families without opportunities to explore these critical subjects in engaging and hands-on ways.
