The Organic Center

The Organic Center is a non-profit with the aim of supporting human and environmental health by facilitating and communicating credible scientific research that supports sustainable organic food and farming. We serve the public, organic growers, policy makers, and industry by identifying organic agriculture research needs, collaborating with universities and governmental agencies to fill those research needs, and communicating research results and scientific findings with the public. The Organic Center is working to transform our food systems by advancing sustainable, organic food systems that support healthy people, healthy environments and healthy communities for generations to come by: Empowering the consumer : We communicate credible, evidence-based science that supports the health and environmental benefits of sustainable organic food and farming thus empowering consumers to make educated choices in the market place that support human and environmental health.
