Sustainable Nantucket (SN)

Sustainable Nantucket is a 501 (c) 3 nonprofit organization that is cultivating a healthy Nantucket by building a more locally-based and self-reliant food system on-island, and a strong local economy. These efforts include expanding agricultural demand and production; increasing access to local food for the community, at our farm stand at 168 Hummock Pond Road, at our seasonal farmers market and in our restaurants and schools. We are committed to educating our community about the importance of increasing the amount of land under agriculture on the island and encouraging locals and visitors to choose locally grown food over imported food.
