The Rallying Cry
The Rallying Cry bridges the gap between capital providers and African women-led businesses by providing advisory and capacity-building support, convening and connecting capital providers and entrepreneurs to accelerate gender-and climate-smart solutions. We amplify African women’s lived experiences and shift narratives about women entrepreneurs on the front lines of climate change. Our shift capital activities target the investor community. The Rallying Cry is building capacity of capital allocators and enterprises and is a catalytic intermediary to help them meet in the middle on gender, climate, commercial and impact objectives. We identify, cultivate and prepare enterprises for matching with capital, expertise, initiatives, and other resources for growth and scale opportunities. We also engage capital allocators with scalable solutions to increase capital flows toward climate- and gender-smart enterprises in Africa. Our shift narrative activities target our African Women Business Leaders, who are not the victims of climate change, but the agents of change. We curate the premier network of inspiring trailblazing change-making African Women Business Leaders at the inter.
