COARE seeks to enlighten people, young and old, to the plight of the oceans, to change the way they think and act, and to encourage them to create positive and lasting change. COARE is a global leader in ocean conservation. We are an all-volunteer led and all-volunteer run organization, and all contributions go directly towards the fulfillment of our mission. From shark conservation to single-use plastic source reduction (e.g., plastic bags and styrofoam cups) to international policy negotiation, we are literally changing the world.
