Merazonia Wildlife Rescue and Rehabilitation

Driving Change Through Innovation and Dedication With a combination of dedication, passion, professionalism, and innovative methods, Merazonia has achieved remarkable results in the field of wildlife rehabilitation. By pioneering new techniques and constantly striving to improve, we have helped raise the bar for rehabilitation and release projects both nationally and internationally. Beyond wildlife rescue, Merazonia works to secure a lasting positive impact on the rainforest. Through land protection and purchase, habitat restoration, educational projects, and promoting sustainable economic alternatives for local communities, we aim to ensure that both people and nature can thrive together. Our achievements so far include: Hundreds of animals returned to the wild — including howler, woolly, tamarin, and night monkeys, as well as sloths, felines, kinkajous, otters, and blue-headed parrots. Pioneering primate releases of red howler and woolly monkeys — notoriously difficult to rehabilitate in captivity — now thriving in their natural habitat. Restoration of degraded forest into flourishing habitat where flora and fauna once again thrive. Successful release of several groups of blue-h.
