The McKenzie River Trust is a community land trust protecting critical habitats and scenic lands across western Oregon, from its home waters on the McKenzie River out to the coastal headlands and the watersheds of the Long Tom, Willamette, Umpqua, and Siuslaw. Since 1989 it has protected more than 10,000 acres, planted over a million trees and shrubs, and restored 25 miles of salmon-bearing streams, working parcel by parcel with willing landowners. A grounded, regional organization for anyone connected to Oregon's rivers and forests.
