Le Nichoir is a unique organization devoted to the conservation of wild birds. We dream of a world in which we all honour the freedom and well-being of wild birds and preserve their role in maintaining a healthy environment for all living things. But we do much more than dream. Each year, we provide professional and compassionate care to thousands of injured and orphaned birds. We also help people of all ages learn how valuable birds are for the health of our planet, with interactive education programs, seminars, and family activities. We do all of this with a small but very dedicated staff supported by an army of devoted volunteers and only limited financial assistance from governments. Keeping our birds healthy and promoting conservation is truly a community effort.
