Kelp Forest Foundation
Kelp Forest Foundation (KFF) exists to independently and transparently establish the ecosystem value of cultivated kelp forests as a powerful nature-based solution. We drive the research on the carbon sequestration potential, the impact on biodiversity and geochemistry, and the avoided emissions of kelp products by collaborating with internationally renowned universities and research institutions. We also focus on ocean literacy, raising awareness on the importance of kelp forests, capacity building for our next generation of ocean scientists.
