Colorado West Land Trust

Colorado West Land Trust was originally founded by a few family farmers in Palisade, Colorado in 1981. During the energy boom, these farmers feared the selling off of land for energy and work force housing, diminishing Palisade's agricultural land base. Since then, the Land Trust has expanded it's service area throughout 5 counties: Mesa County, Delta County, Montrose County, Ouray County, and parts of San Miguel County.
