Beach Relief

We, Tenille Maher and Wood Belcher, clean up beaches every chance we get.  It all started about 3 years ago when we were in St. Augustine, FLA. Wood started picking up trash, I looked at him, puzzled at first, and then shocked at the amount of garbage he found, and then, after joining him, shocked at what I found. Beach 'picking' as we call it, became a habit, and Beach Relief was born.   Doing what we can, one beach at a time. We never leave our home for without a bag to collect trash. You could say we are now addicted to picking up trash and our goal,  we want EVERYONE to be! Trust us, there is unfortunately enough out there for everyone!  Trash on our beaches and in our oceans is only one part of the problem.   Plastic. Plastic  lasts forever, and we are seeing evidence of this MAJOR problem everywhere, not just on the beaches, but in the oceans, in the bellies of wildlife, in our water and food, and therefore in our bellies too.   Our Mission We want to do what we can. We want to show others that every thing we do helps, even if it is a simple as never buying bottled water again, or picking up that trash you see on the way to your car in a parking lot.  At Beach Relief.
