Coop FA / Carbone Scol’ERE
Carbone Scol'ERE (Scol'ERE) is a school program that generates carbon credits for offsetting unavoidable emissions. Scol’ERE aims to educate kids from 9 to 12 years old and their families in Québec (Canada) and in France about climate change and GHG emissions arising from daily choices. The GHG emissions avoided from participants commitments to adopt new habits are quantified as Educational Carbon Credits (ECCs). Organisations and citizens offsetting their emissions with the ECCs are contributing to reach more kids with Scol’ERE avoiding more GHG emissions in a virtuous circle.
