NatureBridge

NatureBridge connects young people to the wonder and science of nature in the world’s best classrooms—our national parks. Each year, 30,000 students take part in our three- to five-day environmental science programs. And because there are so many more to reach, we work to make environmental science a national priority for all young people.

Our take

NatureBridge connects young people to the wonder and science of the natural world through overnight, hands-on environmental science programs based in national parks including Yosemite, Golden Gate, Olympic, and Prince William Forest. It brings more than 30,000 students a year into the outdoors, with scholarship and equity programs aimed at reaching kids who would otherwise never sleep under park skies. This is the direct antidote to nature-deficit disorder: first-hand wonder as the seed of lifelong stewardship.
