Wilderness Science Education

We are a non-profit organization that takes teenagers, including lower income teens, on 3-5 day science education trips down the Lower Salmon River and 1-2 day trips on the Snake River near Celebration Park. Participants study stream ecology, botany, and geology while also participating in natural resource monitoring and service projects for the BLM. They also take part in team-building activities, learn Leave No Trace camping skills, and gain whitewater rafting experience (Class III rapids).
