Village Monde

Village Monde is a non-profit organization founded in 2010 by Charles Mony, entrepreneur and explorer, Isabelle Vitte, project manager, and François Duchesneau, lawyer. Village Monde was founded with the aim of encouraging wealth-producing initiatives in remote communities, through the development of micro-economic projects promoting local entrepreneurship. In 2013, Village Monde took the turn of sustainable community-based tourism and focused all its actions and energies towards the development of rural initiatives in the tourism sector. The aim is thus to create new, sustainable and economically viable sources of economic development to enable these communities improving their living conditions. In 2015, Village Monde was officially established in Cap-Rouge, Québec and launched its collaborative platform for the commercialization and promotion of sustainable tourism initiatives.
