Save Maumee Grassroots Org.

Working to improve the most degraded water quality rivers and streams in the Maumee Watershed; The largest drainage basin to the Great Lakes in the USA. Save Maumee facilitates restoration projects to begin to improve and repair water/land ecosystem relationships. The St. Joseph & St. Marys form in Fort Wayne, Indiana to create the headwaters of the Maumee River. 11 million people downstream depend on it...all the way to Lake Erie! Save Maumee is dedicated to raising awareness about the conditions of our 3 Rivers in Fort Wayne, Indiana. We strive to be the example of public education through shovel-ready projects that directly improve water quality.
